​The seminar & hands-on training "US-guided fistula needling" is organised by HASIN, in collaboration with the Hellenic Society of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. The training and revalidation of all members of staff of the Greek Dialysis Units are an essential criterion of patient safety and a basic requirement for the HASIN accreditation of the Dialysis Units.

​The aim of the seminar is to learn the techniques of supporting breathing and circulation in a victim of cardiac arrest until the arrival of specialized help, and to learn the placement of an unconscious victim with breathing in a recovery position and the techniques of treating a drowning victim.

​

At the end of the seminar, participants will be trained in effective and safe life support, applying the algorithm of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation using safely an automated external defibrillator on a victim of cardiac arrest. They will also be able to place an unconscious victim in a safe recovery position and will be trained in the recognition and treatment of drowning victims.

​​The participants will be granted by the Hellenic Society of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation with the Cirtifiacte of BLS/AED Resuscitator, valid for 3 years.
